Chiang Mai, a city renowned for its cultural heritage yet faces contemporary challenges including traffic congestion, sustainability, and poor air quality
due to the annual "burning season."

In response to these issues, Lanna Lanes is an ongoing tactical urbanism project with a clear vision, to reshape Chiang Mai's urban landscape by bridging the gaps in its cultural and artistic tapestry, while preserving its rich heritage. Lanna Lanes’ core mission is to boost urban mobility, ease congestion, and breathe new life into the city, infusing it with renewed vibrancy and vitality.
