Who we are


Joshua Roberts

Joshua Roberts is an educator, designer, and editor based in Chiang Mai. After a BA in Architecture from Rice University and studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Archeworks, he received a Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He is the former Editor-in Chief of Perspective magazine in Hong Kong, and a Visiting Fellow at City University HK, Assistant Professor at Chu Hai College of Higher Education HK, Visiting Assistant Professor at Hong Kong University, Director of the DESIS (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) Lab at HKDI, and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Saint Joseph, Macau. After a decade of teaching in Hong Kong and China he relocated to Thailand where he is currently a Visiting Lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture at Chiang Mai University.

Edward Vincent

After years of working in architectural practice and instructional experience at various higher educational institutions, Edward Vincent is currently serving as an instructional coordinator in the IDEA (International Programme) of the Faculty of Architecture at Chiang Mai University. He also serves as the lead STEM Coordinator under the Navis – AEG education subsidiary. Holding a Master of Architecture from Prairie View A&M University with honours, his current research focuses on a range of topics encompassing digitally native EdTech (education reform), topological data analysis, cyber-physical systems, design thinking, and integration, urban facilities management, and Mekong sociocultural anthropology. In his spare time, he is an avid mountain biker.
