Upcycled Materiality


Deep into the yeatly “Burning Seasom” of Northern Thailand we at CNXUrban Lab, we keep thinking about corn waste. Corn waste has emerged as a promising resource within the framework of the circular fashion movement. Circular fashion aims to reduce waste and promote sustainability throughout the entire lifecycle of a garment. Corn waste, including corn stalks, husks, and cobs, presents an abundant and renewable source for various applications in the fashion industry and as bio char, a maybe fuel replacemnt or supplement. But to be very honest honest we have not come up with any plausible solutions, but neither has any governement body or NGO... so we continue to work on this as a concept.
